The view of Lake Union and downtown are great if you happen to be renting on that side of the buildings, otherwise you will be facing Aurora Ave with constant traffic noice. The leasing agent told me the road was quiet at night, but that is not true. I rented a studio that had in enclosed deck which didn't allow any air flow and in the summer of 2009 when Seattle had a very hot summer (even got up to 103) I thought about sleeping out on the roof top deck, but of course I didn't. Most of the tenants are in their 20's and love to party. If you enjoy that loud booming bass sound at all hours of the night coming through your walls then this place is for you. I ended up breaking my lease after four months because I couldn't stand it anymore. When I was moving out I told another tenant I brought my lease he said "good for you!" He said his car was broken into and this is in a gated garage. Which of course is another cost to have a parking spot in the garage. Its either that are try to find a spot on Dexter which is not easy. Overall this place was a living nightmare, no peace and quiet and way over priced!!!!!
