Apartment Review for Taylor Towers - Seattle, WA

..this apartment complex is for you! After two weeks of disappointing searches, I discovered this place 6 years ago. It's on top of Queen Anne, but backs right up against the greenbelt. The view is the main reason I got the place; the trees, the birds, the Cascades at sunrise...it's incredible. It's also very solidly built; I rarely hear my neighbors. Has fun 1960s features like a mosaic-tile bathroom sink and flower boxes out front. The managers are also very quick to respond to you. The only thing...my kitchen is very old and small. I don't cook much so it's not a problem, but if you're a chef the space will frustrate you. It's my understanding that most other units have been remodeled, so hopefully they have newer appliances. Not much to do about the space issue, though, which can also be an issue when entertaining. That's the only downside to this place. Many complexes on Queen Anne are new buildings, aka: have paper-thin walls and no character whatsoever. I love living at Taylor Towers--this place is a gem!
